Walking Commentary on Scottish Three Peaks 2011.
Compared with last year's monumental 100km South Downs walk in 27.5 hours, this year's event may seem like a mere stroll through the castle grounds. But this challenge will surely test the team's strength and stamina as they tackle three of Scotland's peaks: Ben Tee (901m), Ben Ledi (879m) and Ben Cruachen (1126m). The team will attempt to scale and descend all peaks, including one during nightfall, in under 24 hours. Bonnie Clyde Sorrell and Lady Sarah McMunn will provide the crucial support, as Clanspersons, McSchmidt, McBrown, McBullock, McRobinson and McKelleher lay siege to the 3 peaks.
The event will take place May 14-15, 2011. Training and preparation for the climbs and logistics are already well underway, leaving the most critical element of the Challenge, raising £3,000 for CARE International up to you.
